Group and one-on-one classes can be organized to suit the needs of families with home educated children.  A variety of lessons and classes can be customized for an individual child, your family, group classes, and your coop.  I would be happy to work with you to customize what you need.  Please email me for more information, as well to see if I have in-person availability in your area.

Some ideas can include:

​

• Music & Movement classes for the young child.

• An instrument family demonstration, which can help your learners know about various instruments, as well as choose an instrument to play in the future.  

• Lessons or classes focusing on one or more of the following topics: music theory, music composition, music technology, sight-singing, history of Western Classical music and/or World music.

• Waldorf-inspired music lessons and classes to suit the young child to teenager, such as in Early Childhood songs, movement activities, pentatonic flute, recorder lessons, recorder ensembles, voice lessons, chorus classes, and more.

• Parent sessions for Waldorf homeschoolers who would like some support with the music education component of the curriculum.  (I have served in the past as a Waldorf music educator, with training in Mood of the Fifth)
   

As we return to more in-person lessons, the following lessons and classes are now available.

• Private piano, voice, woodwind, brass, strings, and percussion lessons for one or more children 

• Chorus class.

• Recorder ensemble featuring just soprano recorders or soprano, alto, tenor, and bass recorders together as a group.

• An instrument demonstration to help your child figure out which instrument they would like to learn.  I typically travel to your location, bring many of my instruments to demonstrate, and have the child(ren) try out the instruments.  It is like an instrument “petting zoo”!

• Mentoring for learners working on self-directed projects.
  
  Also, anyone who is taking lessons can be a part of my annual recitals or arrange a recital in the way that you wish.
